Nigeria’s Acting President, Prof.
Yemi Osinbajo, the Vice-President of Nigeria has appreciated the efforts of Bulkybon
Publications Company for publishing a book entitled War On Corruption and
Other Poems, in support of the ongoing anti-corruption policy of the present
administration.
In a letter addressed through Mr.
Ade Ipaye, Deputy Chief of Staff to the President, Office of the Vice
President, the acting president shows his gratitude after receiving two
complimentary copies of War On Corruption and other Poems sent to him by
yours sincerely, the Editor of Bulkybon Publications Company.
The Deputy Chief of Staff states
in the letter that “I am directed by His Excellency, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN,
Vice-President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, to acknowledge receipt of your
letter dated 4 April 2017 and two copies of your book…”
He further says “…thank you for
contributing towards the enlightenment of society on the menace of corruption
and wish you all the best in your creative efforts.”
In conclusion, he offers that “Please,
accept the assurances of His Excellency, the Vice-President’s appreciation and
best wishes.”
However, it should be noted that Bulkybon
Publications Company had earlier sent two copies each, of the same book to
President Muhammadu Buhari, and his wife Mrs. Aisha Buhari, since 17 January 2017,
without any acknowledgment of receipt till date from the office of the
president and that of the first lady.
Though Bulkybon also later sent
two copies of the book to the Vice-President with a letter whose date is stated in his prompt reply above, the Acting-President’s letter of
acknowledgement of receipt dated 2 May 2017 arrived Bulkybon’s office 14 June
2017.
